*Our modules may change to reflect the latest academic thinking and expertise of our staff, and in line with Department/School academic planning. Research project As part of your master’s degree, you will undertake a major independent research project beginning in April. Under the supervision of a faculty mentor, you will develop, test, and evaluate an original idea within a chosen area of artificial intelligence. Throughout the summer term, you’ll participate in one-to-one meetings and group discussions with your supervisor and peers to refine your research design and methodology. The project culminates in a dissertation of up to 8,000 words, where you’ll present your findings with analytical precision and academic rigour. This experience strengthens your research, programming, and critical-thinking skills while preparing you for professional or doctoral-level work.  Please note that the availability, topics, supervision, and structure are subject to change based on faculty guidance and institutional requirements.
