As an international student, the culture was different here but not hard to settle into. Everyone was welcoming, from different backgrounds, and the University has plenty of workshops and socials to ensure new students settle in easily.
From feeling lost as a new international student to leading a network that supports others like me, this journey has been nothing short of life-changing. It’s shown me the power of connection, courage and community. Today, as the International Network Leader, I have had the privilege of turning that journey into something meaningful, not just for me, but for others.
