The MSc Management programme at Yorkʼs Mumbai campus is designed to help you understand how organisations function, make strategic decisions, and respond to global challenges. Management today is about much more than supervision and control; t is about shaping ideas, navigating uncertainty, and working across cultures and markets. This programme introduces you to global business environments, organisational behaviour, management strategy, and research-led problem solving.

Programme Structure
The MSc Management curriculum is structured to provide a strong foundation in core areas of business, followed by the opportunity to pursue specialist interests. In the first stage of the programme, youʼll explore management in context, looking at governance, organisational behaviour, and the global business environment. As you progress, youʼll deepen your understanding of sustainability, innovation, strategic decision-making, and international operations. The programme encourages critical reflection, creativity, and the ability to evaluate complex information to support sound managerial decisions.
You will develop a comprehensive understanding of management concepts while strengthening your research and analytical skills. Workshops, seminars, and collaborative activities provide opportunities to apply what you learn to real organisational challenges.
The programme comprises 140 credits of core modules, with students then able to take two optional modules (2 x 20 credits).

During the final stage of the programme, you may have the opportunity to pursue one of the Following:
- Traditional research focused dissertation OR
- Undertake a work based project where you will work on real world projects with employers.
